Cancellation of a course offering

Cancellation of a course offering must be verified by your director of studies. Here you can read about how to cancel a course offering.

If a course offering needs to be cancelled, the director of studies must be consulted. The decision is made by the head of school. Cancelling a course offering after the course registration period has ended and the students have been admitted requires very good reasons, e.g. sickness. Another reason may be that the number of admitted students is less than the minimum number of places (assuming this is stated in Kopps).

How to cancel a course offering

Contact the school's office of student affairs via education-support@eecs.kth.se  if a course opportunity needs to be cancelled with information about the cause.

An administrator at the school's office of student affairs prepares a decision and ensures that student representatives have the opportunity to comment on the decision. Thereafter it will be sent to the head of school for signature. The decision is then sent to the admissions group who cancels the course offering in Kopps and Ladok. If the course is cancelled after the admittance of students, the administrator at the school's office of student affairs informs them that the course has been cancelled. The schedule for the course will then also be removed.
