Research Engineer in Molecular Genomics
School of Engineering Sciences at KTH
Job description
Join our laboratory of Molecular Genomics as a Research Engineer to uncover how human cells provoke stress responses and coordinate the process of differentiation at the molecular level. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Research Engineer with a strong background in molecular and cellular biology and solid hands-on experience in laboratory techniques including cell culture, molecular methods, and genetic tools. You will be part of a dynamic research environment focused on dissecting the molecular mechanisms that govern cellular stress responses and induced differentiation in human cells. Your main responsibilities will include culturing and treating human cell lines, collecting and analyzing DNA, RNA, and protein samples, performing advanced cytoprofiling, and contributing to the large-scale mapping of transcription factor activity during cellular state transitions. We are looking for candidates with documented experience in molecular biology and cell culture. The position is based on-site at Campus Solna in Stockholm, and daily presence in the lab is required. You will be expected to carry out laboratory work with a high degree of rigor and to maintain thorough and organized documentation of experimental procedures and results. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of genomics, cell biology, and transcriptional regulation, with access to cutting-edge techniques and collaborative expertise.
