Job description
KTH is developing a Lego-inspired design framework called SiLago (Silicon Lego). SiLago is the basis for four ChipsJU projects and is being used for addressing challenging industrial applications. SiLago is also the basis for two IMEC-funded projects where it is being used as the basis for VLSI design for CMOS 2.0 and 3D nanofabric technologies. The postdoc will contribute to research in algorithmic and application (hierarchy of algorithms) level syntheses. Besides contributing to the ongoing Chips JU and IMEC projects, you are also expected to participate in the supervision of BSc/MSc students and PhD students in the SiLago group, as well as collaborating with industrial partners, attend consortium meetings, and contribute to project deliverables.

Requirements
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in Electronics, Computer Architecture, Design Automation. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
- Strong background in Computer architecture, digital design, design automation algorithms.
- Strong publication record
- Good communication and presentation skills, command over oral and written English as it is required in day to day work.
- Team player, self-driven, and creative
Preferred qualifications
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
- Familiarity with LLVM/MLIR frameworks
- RTL to GDSII design flow
- Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality
