Job description
As a researcher in theoretical quantum matter, you will have considerable freedom to choose your own collaborations and research projects. At the same time, you are expected to collaborate with Thomas Klein Kvorning and other researchers affiliated with his research program.
Some of the research areas currently being actively explored within the program include the characterization of topological quantum matter using local markers, the characterization of quantum dynamics using information lattice techniques, the development of algorithms that exploit the decoupling between local and long-range quantum entanglement, and the characterization of quantum chaos in Lindblad dynamics.

Qualifications
Requirements
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in theoretical physics, quantum matter or a closely related field must have been completed or be expected to be completed shortly.
- independent scientific proficiency within quantum matter research
- Collaborative abilities
Preferred qualifications
- Documented research experience concerning the local distribution of quantum information in many-body quantum systems (the information lattice).
- Documented research experience concerning local topological markers.
- Teaching ability
- The ability to work towards research results being utilised in practice.
- The ability to inform about research and development work
- Experience of developing and leading activities and staff.
- Knowledge of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality
Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
