Successful Thesis Defense by Lena Jonsson
On December 18th, 2024, Lena Jonsson successfully defended her PhD thesis.
The thesis is titled Analysis of Municipal Wastewater Sand Filtration with Denitrification, Phosphorus Removal, and Suspended Solids Separation, and this achievement marks the culmination of years of research and contributions to advancing wastewater treatment technologies.
The defense was conducted before a panel, featuring (from left to right in the photo): grading committee member Prof. Lena Johansson Westholm (Mälardalen University), main supervisor Docent Agnieszka Renman (SEED), opponent Adj. Prof. Ann Mattsson (Chalmers), respondent Lena Jonsson (SEED), grading committee members Docent Frank Persson (Chalmers) and Ass.
