AMD case study about Dardel's GPUs and CPUs facilitating research

The Dardel system at PDC was expanded late last year with more CPUs and an accelerated partition based on graphics processor units (GPUs). Both the CPUs and GPUs are manufactured by AMD. This excellent article looks into Dardel's power efficiency and performance, as well as discussing some of the interesting research that is being made possible thanks to Dardel.
