BioExcel Webinars
PDC hosts the popular BioExcel webinar series together with the University of Edinburgh. The webinar series ( www.bioexcel.eu/webinars ) features notable developments in the field of computational biomolecular research: success stories, new software releases, novel methods, new databases, and anything else that will be of interest and use to the research community. The webinars are held with a live audience so people can ask questions at the end of the presentations. The recordings of the webinars are then posted on the BioExcel YouTube channel ( www.youtube.com/c/BioExcelCoE ) where the series has proven to be popular.
Last spring several of the webinars were by KTH researchers: Paul Bauer and Berk Hess gave a webinar on the new GROMACS release ( bioexcel.eu/webinar-whats-new-in-gromacs-2021-2021-02-18 ), Berk Hess and Magnus Lundborg spoke about applying the AWH method to alchemical transformations ( bioexcel.eu/webinar-applying-the-accelerated-weight-histogram-method-to-alchemical-transformations-2021-03-30 ) and Joe Jordan reported on the portable NonBonded-LIBrary NB-LIB ( bioexcel.eu/webinar-nb-lib-a-performance-portable-library-for-computing-forces-and-energies-of-multi-particle-systems-2021-03-11 ). Join us for more interesting webinars in the autumn! The dates of upcoming webinars can be found on the BioExcel channels at bioexcel.eu .
