What is this experience about? Why?

This experience is about creating a tangible product from a digital model made on computer (CAD) to be able to use it on different projects, here you will learn the basics of 3D-drawing and 3D-printing with a focus on sustainable manufacturing where we will learn to use the material in a efficient way.

When and where does the event happen?

Time: Fri 2025-05-16 17.00 - 20.00

Location: MIDDLA

Who should come?

Design students, makers, jewelers, and anyone curious about merging digital craft with tangible objects. No prior CAD or 3D‑printing experience is necessary, just bring a laptop with Fusion 360 installed (free student/hobby license available) and your creative ideas.

Host information

Kassandra Lora is an industrial designer and 3D technician with years of experience in design and additive manufacturing. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Design Ecologies at Konstfack, she also works part-time in a 3D lab. Kassandra also teaches in different design schools. Kassandra is skilled in CAD software including Fusion 360, Rhino, and ZBrush, and many 3D-printing softwares, she was awarded the SVEAT scholarship.

Kassandra creates and prototypes products for renowned artists and international companies as for the TV and film industry. She is member of the art collectives Misschiefs and Rumtiden Idea Lab
