Scientific services

The scientific services group consists of applications experts and support staff.

Application experts

• Application experts at PDC primarily assist researchers to utilise the Dardel system at PDC or other high-performance computing (HPC) systems provided by the National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS).
• Application experts are generally people who have a degree (usually a Ph.D.) in a research area involving HPC, along with experience working with HPC systems. They may also have a degree in computer science or computational science.
• Application expert positions at PDC are advertised on the job openings at PDC  and KTH vacancies  pages.
