Scientific software
- Research software engineers (RSEs) at PDC contribute to developing software for research areas that use high-performance computing (HPC) systems, such as computational fluid dynamics and molecular biology. The code and applications they work on may be for performing simulations or may address other aspects of the HPC research process, such as analysing or visualising results, or improving workflows.
- Research software engineers are generally people who have a degree (usually a Ph.D.) in a research area involving HPC, along with experience working with HPC systems.
- Software research/development positions at PDC are advertised on the job openings at PDC and KTH vacancies pages.
