UN Global Goals in focus when upper secondary school projects were awarded
Sustainable Generation 2025

For the third year in a row, upper secondary school students have competed in “Sustainable Generation”, an initiative from KTH's School of Architecture and the Built Environment and the Företagsam Foundation, to increase young people's interest in important future issues and to stimulate schools' education on sustainability matters.

During the award ceremony at KTH Campus on 28 May, ten finalists were rewarded with 10,000 kronor each. Special focus was placed on projects with connections to the UN Global Goals.
Before the award ceremony, the winners participated in three mini-lectures that provided perspectives on various current sustainability issues. Annika Gram spoke about "Concrete and Sustainability," Milan Horemuz discussed "Geodetic Monitoring of the Vasa Ship," and Han-Suck Song addressed "Education for Sustainable Development in a World Full of Goal and Interest Conflicts."
Subsequently, the winners received diplomas from Erika Hann from the Swedish Construction Federation and Bo Sillén from the Företagsam Foundation.
