Melanie Olsson holds her B.Sc in Environmental Science from Linköpings University and is doing her master studies at the program of Sustainable Urban Planning and Design at KTH. She is currently working on her master thesis where she is exploring the act of civil disobedience in the context of climate change. Her research interests include civic power, indigenous societies, human-nature connection, subsistence economies and the critique of consumerism.
