KTH-dESA’s analytical tools at the 5th UNECE task force meeting

The fifth meeting of the Task Force on the Water-Food-Energy-Ecosystems Nexus  was organized in the Palais des Nations in Geneva on 18 October 2017. The discussions focused on methodological advances to the participatory nexus assessment methodology developed under the United Nations Economic Commission of Europe (UNECE) Convention. KTH-desa research engineer  introduced in his presentation the analytical tools developed by KTH-desa and their applications in nexus studies under the UNECE convention and beyond. The analytical toolkit includes the long term energy modelling system “ OSeMOSYS ” and the Open Source Spatial Electrification Toolkit “ ONSSET ”.
