Urban CLEWs work featured at the first Urban Transitions Global Summit

Shanghai, China, September 5-9th
PhD candidate Rebecka Engström chaired a session on “Energy in Cities” at the first Urban Transitions Global Summit. The Elsevier Conference, held in Shanghai on September 5-9th, gathered participants from the full spectra of urban sciences to encourage cross-disciplinary dialogue. By doing so, the summit aimed to facilitate a first step towards uniting the urban scientific community in the face of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goal on Cities (goal 11). R. Engström also held an oral presentation at the Summit on the urban CLEWs framework developments, with preliminary results from her latest study on water and land-use implications of climate mitigation pathways for the small Swedish town of Oskarshamn.
