This seminar is focused on the mapping of aurora to regions of the magnetosphere.
More precisely, plasma and magnetic field characteristics for different magnetospheric regions will be discussed and their relation to different aurora types will be examined.
Finally, identification methods with the help of satellite data will be shown.
