HR-support for ABE
The Human Resources Department provides support and advice on personnel matters in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
The main role of the Human Resources Department is to provide support to the school’s managers and leaders regarding relevant laws and regulations, as well as to all staff members on various HR-related matters. The department covers a wide range of areas and functions, with the HR generalist acting as the first point of contact for the department’s management and staff. We also have specialists and support functions in various areas, who are brought in depending on the issue.

HR generalists
Each department is supported by an HR generalist. The HR generalist acts as both a strategic and operational partner to the school’s managers and is the first point of contact for matters and queries relating to, among other things, employment law, health and safety, recruitment and rehabilitation.

HR administrators
Our HR administrators primarily work with operational tasks relating to the administration of employment matters, payroll, grants, certificates, onboarding and termination of employment.
Recruitment
Our recruitment specialist supports and manages all recruitment matters at the ABE school (excluding faculty positions). The role also involves strategic work for KTH as an employer on issues such as employer branding, training in skills-based recruitment and monitoring external developments.

Contract workers
A contract worker (hourly-paid employee) is someone who carries out short-term assignments, such as a course assistant, guest lecturer or exam invigilator at KTH. Compensation is paid as a fixed fee or an hourly wage. Please contact us here with any questions regarding contract workers and their compensation.
