KTH and THS open up during Culture Night Stockholm 2024

Take the chance to visit the KTH Reaktorhallen, which is located 25 meters underground, the place where Sweden's first nuclear reactor stood.

During the evening we give two guided tours around the campus, take the opportunity to join us on a lovely tour where you learn more about KTH and its almost 200-year history.

Tekniska Högskolans Studentkår (THS) has the pub in Nymble open all evening. You are warmly welcome to enjoy the Promenadorquestern och Baletten Paletten, which offer a fast-paced show with high tempo, jazz and dance.

Important information

The reactor hall is ten floors underground and is reached via stairs. A lift down is available for those who cannot climb stairs. All visitors may use the elevator for ascent.

The guided tours go over cobblestones and stairs both inside and outside. Limited number of seats, tickets are distributed 30 minutes before the start opposite the entrance to Reaktorhallen.
