World Academic Forum - City Transformations
Stockholm Summit 2022
Stockholm’s united academia will come together to manifest the importance of academia’s role in society in May 2022. During four days, a wide range of events with an interdisciplinary focus are brought together in a joint program with both on-site and online events.
Time: Thu 2022-05-19 17.00 - 19.00
Location: Online
City Transformation highlights the role of the academic community to explore new ways of ongoing city transformation, which is particularly provoked by pandemics, from a historical, ethical and societal point of view. For instance, we bring up Senseable Stockholm Lab as an example of strategic collaboration with MIT Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the City of Stockholm bringing together cutting-edge research on cities, IoT and AI.
Senseable Stockholm Lab aims to increase the understanding of city science and to create an urban experience that improves the interconnectivity between people, institutions, nature and infrastructure.
