Workshop: Infrastructures enabling Life Science
Meet the research infrastructures at KTH!
Time: Tue 2020-12-15 13.00 - 16.30
Location: Online
The KTH Life Science Technology Platform arranges a half-day digital workshop to put the spotlight on how important our academic core facilities and central infrastructures are for high-quality Life Science Research.
The largest core facilities for Life Science at KTH will present themselves and be available for Q&As. First, short films presenting each infrastructure will be available a week before the workshop, so that you can watch them in advance. Then at the workshop, you will be able to meet with representatives from the infrastructures, in the webtool REMO which enables mingling and discussions directly with the infrastructures.
KTH's deputy president Mikael Östling will also present KTH´s infrastructure strategy and participate in a discussion session. We will start off the LS-day with two exciting keynote presentations illustrating the science that strong infrastructures can enable.
Short films from the participating core facilities, describing the facility services, user models as well as key examples of research carried out are available on YouTube (see links below).
