December Newsletter: Thank you for 2021!
We are heading towards the end of the year. The last member email for 2021 is signed by our President Susanna Elfving Blomster and can be found below.
I would like to start by thanking all of you for the union year of 2021. During this year, we have become more members than we have ever been before and we have seen each other more times than usual. I think we had ten different membership meetings during the year. There have also been more members who have contacted us with questions and suggestions.
It has been an intense year for the board, we have had two salary revisions and more membership matters than in a long time. Working from home and returning to the workplace have also placed greater demands on all our workplace representatives and safety representatives. I would therefore like to extend a big thank you to all the elected representatives!
In 2022, we will continue to have many meetings on Zoom, but hopefully we will be able to meet on campus as well. We will continue to fight for distance agreements and a better working environment. In addition, we will invest in recruiting more members and elected representatives.
