Quality Council for First and Second Cycle Education

Quality issues and important administrative matters of a school and program-wide nature for education at basic and advanced level are prepared in the school's quality council for basic education and led by the person in charge of basic education. The Quality Council is an advisory body to the head of basic education.

Meetings

The quality council meeting is held twice per semester.

Tasks

Issues dealt with in the quality councils include:

  • proposals for changes to education plans/general study plans/program descriptions
  • program-wide systematic quality assurance development work within basic education level
  • discussion and recommendations regarding measures linked to KTH's quality monitoring of education
