Course on export control
Are you conducting research or teaching in technology or natural sciences? If so, you handle knowledge and equipment that can have both civilian and military applications. Much of this knowledge and equipment is regulated by export controls, and this course provides you with the knowledge to act appropriately.
The course has been developed by KTH and six other higher education institutions. It is primarily aimed at those working within academia, conducting research, teaching, or engaging in development within technology, natural sciences, and related fields. The course answers questions such as:
- What are dual-use items?
- Why is it important to be aware of export control regulations?
- What is military equipment?
- How do you classify items in research and teaching according to export control regulations?
