Student ambassador for the Industrial Transformation Platform
The KTH Industrial Transformation Platform is a multidisciplinary research platform at KTH focusing on the industrialisation of new products, services, and production systems for a sustainable society. Its goal is to facilitate dialogue and activities between KTH and external partners, including academia, public organisations, and companies interested in sustainable industrialisation.
This position involves superb communication and organisational skills. You will work together with the researchers' network in the platform, including students, postdocs, researchers, assistant professors, and professors from different departments at KTH.
In this position, you will contribute to shifting the focus from identifying industry and sustainability challenges to actively sharing scientific knowledge and practical insights that drive successful efforts in transforming industries towards sustainable practices.
Your responsibilities
- Organising events and designing workshops for the community at KTH with the purpose of promoting dialogue and actions facilitating industrial transformation.
- Creating engaging social media content, infused with a gender and sustainability lens, to promote awareness and inspire action towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.
- Planning on-site and online seminars, including researchers and industry representatives from Sweden and abroad.
- Actively participating in meetings and workshops organised by the ITP and presenting your plan of action, progress, and inputs to senior members of the platform.

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the transformation of the industry towards a sustainable future, irrespective of your educational background and current program.
- Proactively engage in learning about and driving action towards the industrial transformation for a sustainable industry.
- Exhibit reliability, organisation, self-motivation, and a passion for hands-on work.
- Possess exceptional communication and organisational skills, fostering effective relationships with individuals from diverse educational, gender, and seniority backgrounds, both within academia and industry.
Important to know
- Compensation according to the KTH standard for students .
- Engagement: a maximum of 100 hours total during 5 months, equivalent to 15 per cent of time.
