WISE–KTH webinar: Industrial PhD/Postdoctoral Student Call 2023 and Industrial Research Arenas

WISE is announcing an upcoming Industrial PhD and Postdoctoral Student call for research projects (WISE-ip1) and invites industry representatives and principal investigators of the WISE partner universities to information webinars. The KTH webinar will be held on 7 December at 13.00-14.00.

Earlier in 2022, the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation initiated a large, 10+ year program on materials science for a sustainability, WISE . One part of this program will aim to strengthen the collaboration between industry and academia.

Following these ambitions, WISE is announcing an upcoming Industrial PhD and Postdoctoral Student call for research projects (WISE-ip1) and invites industry representatives and principal investigators of the WISE partner universities to information webinars. During the webinars, also the plan and work to establish WISE Industrial Research Arenas (WIRA) will be reported. Our partner universities will also inform about things to consider if the student will have principal investigator at that university.

WISE mission

The WISE mission is to perform basic and need-driven materials science at the international forefront to empower sustainable technologies with positive impact on society and to train future leaders in society, industry, and academia. WISE-ip1 and WIRA are two very powerful components for industry-academia research collaborations!
