KTH Language and Communication, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Sweden, welcomes KTH students and staff who study Japanese, who come from Japan, or who are involved in research related to Japan to a networking event. Come and make connections with Japanese individuals and companies, enjoy the taste of some Japanese food, and share your experiences and plans with other passionate people.

About the Japan Day

The aim of KTH Japan Day is to provide KTH people studying Japanese or involved in Japan-related research with a place to network and strengthen future relationships. We place particular emphasis on providing young science and engineering students with opportunities to expand their connections with Japan through interactions with researchers and Japanese companies.

For whom?

KTH students, researchers, alumni, and staff members involved in Japanese-language courses or projects related to Japan. Selected Japanese companies in Sweden. Exchange students from Japan. Japanese Embassy in Sweden and Swedish Embassy in Japan.

17:00 – 17:40 *Panel Discussion - "The Climate challenge - joint challenges in Japan and Sweden" in collaboration with KTH Climate Action Center

17:40 – 17:45 ご挨拶 Greeting by the Embassy of Japan

17:45 – 18:00 表彰式 Commendation ceremony of KTH scholars travelling to University of Tokyo in 2024 and KTH students who participated in the Japanese speech contest in Sweden 2023
