STARS
STARS (Swedish Trans-Atlantic Researchers and Scholars) Network connects academics, entrepreneurs, scientists, and students in North America and Sweden, with members at 65 North American and 12 Swedish higher education institutions. STARS’ goal is to inspire research collaborations between Sweden and North America and provide information to students and researchers who wish to relocate.
The network works to create a dynamic, member-driven organisation that provides professional development opportunities for its members to increase interdisciplinary, transatlantic research and enable more scholarly research exchange between North America and Sweden.
- Promote networking and the exchange of knowledge between Swedish researchers in North America.
- Support people who have experience of, or are interested in, studying or conducting research in Sweden.
- Inspire innovation, collaboration and joint research projects between researchers.
- Function as a meeting place for researchers based in North America and Swedish research entities.
