  • IT will solve tomorrow's energy problems

    Reducing our electricity consumption which will lead to smarter storage and distribution of electricity are two major challenges we face. When the third meeting of the conference ICES begins on 2 September, the arrangers and the researchers at KTH intend to tackle these problems; they also aim to define a number of new challenges which are worthy of further research.

  • Better traffic situation in Stockholm led to prize

    At KTH a project is now underway to improve traffic conditions in the Stockholm area. It is so popular among Swedes that yesterday it received the “Prize for a smarter planet”.

    The master's programme in Vehicle Engineering covers all aspects from vehicle design, functions and dynamic properties, to systems for safety and comfort, and vehicles as part of the transport systems.
