Study on the importance of video for learning – a student’s perspective

Students' perspectives on video as a learning resource

During these past two years, teachers have put a lot of time and energy into creating teaching videos. In this online seminar, we share students' experiences and opinions on how video is perceived and used as a learning resource. Our focus has been on how video can be used in students' learning processes and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

During the seminar, we will present some of the results from the practice-based study conducted by Kamilla Andersson, Baharak Ronquist Djajarmizadeh, and Linda Barman in Digital Course Development (Department of Learning). We will also be open to discussion about students' changed study strategies as a consequence of increased access to digital material and online teaching.
