Design of video for teaching and video technology for online teaching

Interested in enhancing the learning experience of your digital teaching situations, synchronous and asynchronous? This webinar and following panel discussion will focus on the design of videos for teaching and recording tools techniques that can be helpful for you as a teacher during, for example, online lectures from home over Zoom, hybrid lectures with students in the same room on campus and at a distance, or video recording.

Exchange of experiences about video technology and recording tools

Many have now become used to teaching from a distance and have different experiences to share. The webinar and the following panel discussion are intended as a forum for the exchange of experiences about different digital teaching situations, with the focus being on the technical solutions for video presentation.

Webinar, 12:15 - 13:00

The first hour is a "regular" Lunch 'n' Learn webinar, based on previous LnL webinars held in 2020. Among other things, the webinar will go over how you can film text written on the board, digital screens and paper in different ways.

Håkan Westlund and Hannes Hagstrand are both part of the synchronization team for web meeting, video and streaming (WVS), which is a part of the working group for digitalization of education.

Panel discussion, 13:00 - 14:00

The webinar will immediately be followed by a panel discussion with KTH teachers who have worked much with video and online lectures. The panelists will share their experiences and answer your questions. Feel welcome to participate in the discussion!
