Broader recruitment (Priority group)
The Priority groups are an informal but important and established forum for teachers, programme managers, students and others involved in education at KTH to meet, share experiences and ideas about education. Today, certain groups in society are underrepresented in Swedish higher education. In order to make the student composition reflect the surrounding society, KTH works with broadened recruitment, broadened participation, validation and assessment of real competence.

Broader recruitment
Broader recruitment and participation is a mission based on the Higher Education Act. We will be an inclusive, open and accessible university for everyone regardless of background.
Questions & discussions at the Storträff meet up
Review the mechanisms of how KTH admits students and how they are received
Three basic questions:
- Will I fit in?
- Will I be able to cope?
- Is it worth it?
Dare to try different initiatives
Collaboration with other actors in the community is key
Learning centres could be a way to reach wider, also Prao could increase interest
The maths/physics test could be extended.
More data needed, (why people choose KTH, background etc) and information should reach out to e.g. PA.
