Perspectives for and by Stockholm Trio.

We invite teachers and other interested staff from all disciplines to come together and discuss how questions related to gender equity, diversity, and equal opportunities are being approached and integrated in the curriculum at the three Stockholm Trio universities.

About the workshop

The task of working with gender equity, diversity, and equal opportunities in higher education is based on both legislation and scientific research. Although it may feel like a well-established demand, the organizational conditions are diverse, and there are no simple solutions that fit everyone and every program.

During the workshop we will explore the meaning of gender equity, diversity and equal opportunities in different institutional contexts and will focus on strategies for inclusion of equal opportunities at both course and program level. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from one another and explore resources and tools available at different universities. What do we mean by working with a gender equity, diversity and equal opportunity perspective in teaching and how can this be done?

Workshop leaders are pedagogical developers/teachers from the three Stockholm Trio Universities; Susanne Kreitz-Sandberg from Stockholm University, Charlotta Delin and Anne-Kathrin Peters from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Natalie Jellinek from Karolinska Institutet.

Registration

The workshop is aimed at all teaching staff and educational managers, regardless of subject affiliation, at Stockholm University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska Institute. Participation is free of charge. Book your place in good time, as places are limited. First come, first served is applied.
