Ahead of this year's KTH Japan Day on 16 November 2026, we look back at last year's well-attended event, where podcast host Marcus Lithander met with attendees and organisers. Janek Ozmin was the lead coordinator for the entire Diploma Days event. As Director of Studies for the Master’s programmes (Second Cycle Education) in Architecture at KTH, he works on educational development, pedagogical frameworks and assessment.

The "Quarneval" is organised by KTH students every three years. The event is a celebration of student creativity and humour, and the highlight is the famous Quarneval parade, which attracts huge crowds.

’ is a change programme that formally began in December 2022 and will run until 2027 – the same year that KTH celebrates its 200th anniversary.
The podcast ´Fika chat on the future of education´
is produced by the programme management team for ‘Future Education at KTH’ to share knowledge and perspectives on educational development – at KTH and beyond. The podcast host, Marcus Lithander, chats over coffee (fika) with guests from or outside KTH about the future of education in general and the change programme in particular.
The episodes are usually recorded live every second Wednesday, but occasionally episodes are pre-recorded, especially when we visit different KTH educational environments; then the podcasts are best enjoyed as video podcasts (on KTH Play or YouTube).
