We live in a period of great changes, and the future is uncertain. We know that a major transformation is ongoing with exciting (new technologies, innovation, etc.) and worrying (climate crisis, shortages, etc.) moments. Engineers often master the technological side of the challenge, but they are also human with feelings, doubts and sometimes anxiety.

This event focuses on the non-technical issues of the ongoing rapid transformation and ongoing crisis, and our guests will share their experience in dealing with multiple aspects of the climate crisis; namely technology, resources, peace and conflicts, economy and feelings.

Prior to the discussion, three dancers from the SKH Bachelor Programme in Dance Performance  and one composer from KMH Bachelor Programme in Electroacoustic Music Composition  will present a short dance choreography for music composition and sonification based on climate change data.

The performance is followed by a discussion with Nate Hagens  and Olivia Lazard .

The two performances will be:

Pre-listen to our two guests; Nate Hagens explains the present meta-crisis  and Olivia Lazard's Ted Talk on blind spots of the green transition .
