Online workshop 2: Mapping and reporting university contribution on SDGs - Unite!
Higher education Institutions can support and contribute to the implementation of the Agenda 2030 and the achievement of the related 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Areas of contribution can include teaching, research, organizational governance, culture, and operations.
Time: Thu 2021-11-25 14.00
Language: English
Participating: Arch. Chiara Genta, PhD fellow, Politecnico di Torino and Università di Torino.
There will be two workshops on the theme of how universities can contribute to the UN Agenda 2030, these workshops are organized by Politecnico di Torino, in collaboration with Unite!
This is the second workshop "Mapping and reporting university contribution on SDGs".
Duration: 90 minutes
No. participants:28 (4 participants from each Unite!-partner university)
The second workshop focuses on mapping methodologies and tools for the evaluation of activities impacts on sustainable development. The second session is a hands-on session in which participants are asked to discuss and test the presented approaches.
It is recommended that you sign up for both workshops (as a priority participant) but it is also possible to attend one session only.
Participation is welcome from all administrative staff, if useful, from academics too.
The workshop may be relevant for a large and diverse audience as we are more and more asked to identify the SDGs within the university activities like drafting project proposals and reports; cataloguing projects; defining the content of the academic offer. The topic may be relevant especially for staff working in the:
- sustainability/green office
- academic programme management
- international project management
- research project management
- data management for the university ranking
- communication (if SDGs need to be highlighted)
To register, please contact Anna Hellberg Gustafsson, email annahg@kth.se.
