Abstract
Process mining is used to find problems, bottlenecks, and regulatory adherence within healthcare processes. Process mining provides techniques to extract processes from extensive real-world data, and provides an array of tools encompassing visualization and data descriptive analysis.
Nevertheless, its advantages remain unrealized in the domain of longitudinal epidemiology studies, despite the apparent applicability of process mining principles in this context. So, for this study, we aim to develop a methodology for applying process mining to observational epidemiology studies.
