Ventilation (offices) - Update - 2022-08-18
Final inspection will occur on the 29th of August, small ventilation disruptions may occur between 08:00 and 09:00.
Ventilation (offices) - Update - 2022-08-01
The control system is being updated.
Drilling in the floor will occur on the 1st of August.
Ventilation (offices) - Update - 2022-06-30
On Monday the 4th of July they will drill in the floor, to fasten fans, from 07:00 to 08:30. Disturbing noices will occur.
Ventilation (offices) - Update - 2022-06-20
This week they have started removing the old fans, and started taking the old channels down. The new ventilation channels have been delivered and carried in to the ventilation room.
During this Thursday, and next week, the old channels will be cut, which will cause disturbing noise.
The project will come back with more information regarding the rebuilding of the ventilation system, as this will cause more disturbing noise, they will drill into the floor. That should be started by the end of next week.
Ventilation (offices) - 2022-06-20
The ventilation at AlbaNova will be renovated, from 2022-06-20 to 2022-07-15 (approximately). This renovation will not affect the lab ventilation (fume hoods, etc.), as it’s the “office ventilation” that is being renovated.
- Air out will be shut down (fume hoods will still draw air out)
- Air in will be on for most of the time
Consequences
- The air pressure may be slightly higher, which may cause doors to be harder to open or close.
- Fume hoods may sound an alarm due to fluctuations in air flow at those times that the air in is shut down.
- Large pieces of equipment will transported through the back corridor on the 2nd floor. The entrance to the ventilation room is next to the chemical storage room D2:3014.
