Compressed Air - 2022-09-07
Service will be performed on the compressed air of the 7th of September, from 08:00. Please plan as if the system will be offline all day.
Liquid Nitrogen -2022-08-09

Just a short follow up. We have very limited amounts of liquid nitrogen at the moment so we will need to prioritise how to use it. Liquid nitrogen will be used to keep our cryo-freezers in order and also cell storage at the different labs, if groups use liquid nitrogen dewars for cells. To minimise loss of liquid nitrogen I urge you not to open the cryo-freezers if you don’t need to. Other activities that use liquid nitrogen have to be put on hold.

We have a current problem in the delivery of liquid nitrogen into our labs due to a malfunction in a valve at the outside tank. Linde has been here looking at it and will be here tomorrow as well. The issue will not be solved immediately, spare parts will need to be ordered from abroad and delivery times are unknown.

Ventilation - Mantenance - 2022-06-21
Today, June 21st, Akademiska Hus has started the maintenance of the ventilation system. They will vacuum-clean baffles in offices and fan air coolers in labs. No major disturbances are expected except for it can sound like a regular vacuum cleaner.
Right now they are carrying out the cleaning on Alpha 1 and will continue up at the Alpha building. Next, they will continue the work at the Gamma building starting from G2. It is expected that they clean approximately two floors per day.
