KTH Energy Platform – an arena for technology neutrality, inclusion, and sustainable development
KTH Energy Platform publishes a report documenting the last five years' extensive activities of events, workshops, national and international study visits, as well as regular visits to research projects and labs at KTH departments.
“Since its inception, the KTH Energy Platform has been an arena for new research collaborations where we have led initiatives that strengthened collaboration with the surrounding society. Since 2019, we have published extensive material of articles from events, workshops and study visits. Now we are collecting these into a documentation of the activities,” says Lina Bertling Tjernberg, platform director, who in April took on the role of new Deputy Head of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS).
The report contains more than 220 news articles in English and Swedish, as well as an introductory overview of the platform's activities since its inception in 2009.
“The material shows the breadth of KTH's energy research and contains many gems from the past years. It gives a good picture of the inclusive activities of recent years and our endeavour to meet climate challenges with a technology-neutral energy transition.”
Lina Bertling Tjernberg now brings the experience gained from leading the KTH Energy Platform since 2019 to her
new role as Deputy Head
of School.
“I look back with gratitude for everything we have achieved. Now it's time to take that knowledge further in the work of strengthening the impact of research in society in my new role at KTH and the EECS school. “
