ITM management and board
The school is managed by the Head of School, the Management Team and the School Faculty Board. There is also a School's Office that supports the core activities of the ITM School.
Line organisation
The ITM School has six departments, each headed by a Head of Department. The Head of School's duties are set out in KTH's rules of procedure, KTH's delegation regulations and other decisions. Within the school, there are also management assignments such as undergraduate programme manager, postgraduate programme manager, faculty renewal manager and equality, diversity and equal opportunities manager. Faculty Board - collegiate, preparatory and decision-making
The Faculty Board has overall responsibility for the long-term development of education and of conditions for research, monitoring and development of quality and peer support. The board is also responsible for teacher appointments and docent appointments.
KTH's President decides what is included in the responsibilities of the faculty boards. Faculty boards may also have tasks decided by the Head of School.
The Faculty Boards also participate in the School's operational planning, the preparation of principles for the allocation of resources within the School and ensure opportunities for peer exchange within the School on the issues for which the Board is responsible. In addition to these faculty members, there are also representatives from THS and doctoral students, external members and representatives of the employee organisations.
Committees of the Board
Recruitment Committee ITM
The Recruitment Committee (anställningsutskott ITM) replaces the former Central Recruitment Committee (anställningsnämnden) and the School Recruitment Committee (skolans rekryteringskommitté). The Committee is the body of the Faculty Board in matters relating to the employment of teachers. The Committee consists of the Chair (who is also the FFA of the School), the Vice-Chair, teacher members and alternates.

Docent Committee ITM
The Docent Committee ITM (Docentutskottet) replaces the former Docentkommitté. The committee is the Faculty Board's body for matters relating to admission as docent. The committee consists of a chair and a vice chair. A pool of at least four teachers or researchers is assigned to the committee.
