Dear doctoral students at applied physics,After cancelling the previous meeting due to a too short announcement time, we, the program responsibles for the PhD program in applied physics and the doctoral student representatives, would like to invite you to a meeting to introduce the PhD program in applied physics at KTH. This meeting is primarily directed at students who have joined in the past several months, but all students of the program are welcome to take part, especially if they have not attended any of these meetings earlier. We hold one such meeting every semester.

Our aim is to introduce you to the relevant contact people for your PhD studies at KTH, to provide you with practical information to be able to comfortably carry out your studies, and to give you the opportunity to meet other students in the program who you might otherwise not have a chance to!

To do so, we propose a program in 2 parts:3:30-4:30pm PhD program presentations
· Presentation round
· Information from the program, organization and responsible persons. Rules and regulations. Who to contact? What are your rights? What is expected from you?
· Information from the department. code of conduct, opportunities to teach and get involved in the department.
· Information from the PhD student representatives. Presentation of the PhD council, what they do and events they organize.
