• Broadened and relevant recruitment for Master's programmes

  This project explores the possibilities to increase the number of eligible first-hand international applicants to the master programme Industrial & Environmental Biotechnology (TIMBM). The competence of the graduates are highly needed by the industry.

• Increased student completion in chemical engineering programmes

  The project examines the reasons for low student completion rates on chemical engineering programmes by looking at data and interviewing students about their experiences and challenges, and proposes actions to improve them.

• Digital and continuous assessment

  The project involves developing digital assessment in biotechnology and chemistry-related subjects via KTH Digicertus Exam (Safe Exam Browser), both for continuous assessment of theory modules and for assessment of higher conceptual understanding such as exams with drawing and essay questions.

• Development of second-cycle programme structures and recruitment strategies

  The project involves developing one or more programme structures with interlinked course offerings that allow freedom of choice and depth of subject matter while course offerings are reviewed/restructured/ reduced/planned differently. Improved recruitment strategies are also included.
