Mateusz Moszkowicz presents how he uses custom GPT‑based tools in teaching Swedish as a second language, particularly to support students’ writing development. He has developed an AI assistant that provides instant, level‑appropriate feedback: it corrects linguistic errors but also offers explanations and comments tailored to each student’s proficiency level. Because the feedback is both immediate and private, students can work iteratively without the insecurity that often arises when showing unfinished texts to a teacher. The aim is to create a safer learning environment, reduce friction in the feedback process, and enable practice that focuses on learning rather than performance.

Paris Carbone will describe how AI can help teachers focus more on their students. During the webinar, he will share his experience using GPT models since their initial release and how they have helped transform and streamline his teaching workflow. He will also explain how AI can automate time‑consuming tasks, such as preparing exams and supporting course administration. By allowing AI to handle much of the routine work, teachers will be able to free up time and energy for what matters most: engaging with students and strengthening the human side of teaching.

This session is designed as inspiration for anyone interested in exploring the possibilities of generative AI—whether you are a beginner or have already experimented a little. You do not need to be a programming expert. The goal is to show how relatively simple approaches can help you develop your teaching, save time, and perhaps discover new perspectives.
