Docent Committee ABE
The Docent Committee ABE (Docentutskottet) replaces the former Docentkommitté. The committee is the Faculty Board's body for matters relating to admission as docent. The committee consists of a chair and a vice chair. A pool of at least four teachers or researchers is assigned to the committee.
For each individual case, a docent board is appointed with the task of examining applicants and submitting proposals for decisions regarding docent status. The board is responsible for assessing teaching skills and the docent interview and is familiar with the relevant doctoral programme subject. The board shall consist of a chair drawn from the docent committee and two members drawn from the docent committee pool. Students are entitled to be represented by two members.
