Who may sign the project party's approval?

Many research funders request that the approval of a project party is signed after a decision has been made on a grant.

The following applies to Formas, Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency, Forte and the Swedish Research Council:

The value of the grant is less than SEK 5 million - Head of Department

The Head of Department can sign the project party's approval if the value of the grant is less than SEK 5 million according to a decided delegation in the school's Decision and Delegation Scheme.

The following applies for the Head of School's signature

All project parties' approvals, which have been signed by the Head of School, are sent back to the responsible project manager / researcher for forwarding to the financier. The original is archived at the department.

The value of the grant exceeds SEK 5 million – Head of School

If the value of the grant exceeds SEK 5 million, the project party's approval must be sent to avtalsamordning@abe.kth.se  for coordination of the Head of school's signature.

The following applies to the approval of other project parties with a financier other than the above (for example the Swedish Transport Administration):

The approval of other project parties is signed by the Head of School, regardless of value. These should be sent to avtalsamordning@abe.kth.se  for coordination of the head of school's signature.
