Booking the Lounge

The ABE school has adapted a new routine for the use and booking of the Lounge, Teknikringen 10B. The new routine is valid from 20 August 2019.

From the Autumn semester 2019, the master's programme Sustainable Urban Planning and Design rents the Lounge at Teknikringen 10B. This means that the room is used for teaching, but the students in the programme are also able to use the room outside of teaching time to work on projects or equivalent.

However, there is still some possibility for staff to book the Lounge for other activities.

As the Lounge is used for teaching in the Master's programme Sustainable Urban Planning and Design, only students who participate in courses that are located in the Lounge have access to the area. ABE school employees still have access to the Lounge as previously.

  • Bookings are made through this form: Booking the Lounge . Cost: SEK 800 / hour from 1st January 2023.
  • The booking request should be made no later than 14 days in advance and should comprise of at least four hours. Exceptions can be made if the booking cohere with planned teaching.
  •  The booking request will be assessed in relation to the teaching that has been planned and if the booking does not cause major obstacles to the teaching, the booking will be confirmed within 3 days of the request.
  •  For booking the Lounge, a set fee will be charged, as previously. Cost: SEK 800 / hour.
  •  Students will be asked to clear away material prior to a booked activity. The person who rents the premises is responsible for arranging the room and cleaning up after. Wagons will be available to store the tables. It is not required to restore the furniture in the room.
  • Cancellation of the Loungen must take place 15 days before the event, otherwise the full amount will be charged.
