COST Action 637, "Metals and related substances in drinking water"

From the beginning COST Action 637 dealt with Pb, As, Ni and Cu problems in drinking water and treatment methods in order to decrease the levels. Since Sweden became part of the action U has been included, since it's a rising problem in Sweden. In addition, the whole mineral pattern is discussed today, since any treatment method alters the mineral balance.
The conference aims at inauguarating the paradigm shift in which we discuss metals and ions in both the positive and the negative way, the mineral balance of a drinking water.
