KTH's internal event support

The internal event support team is part of the Communications department at the University Administration. The team facilitate the organisation of events at KTH by offering consultative support in the form of knowledge and solutions. They contribute advice and tips that make it easier for the organiser to plan and conduct successful events that yield positive results.

As an organiser, you can get help at the beginning of the planning process – for example with goal-setting, evaluation, meeting design, format, budget and support relating to suborder routines. As planning progresses, the team offers support and consultation services regarding practical solutions and logistics issues.

The schools' event support

If you work at a school that has event support, you can turn to them for help in planning and arranging both large and small events.

Your local event support can help you with the following, among other things:

• Project management, coordination, logistics and planning in connection with events and meetings, such as international scientific conferences, planning conferences, summer schools and workshops.

• Booking premises or facilities according to government framework agreements, catering, transport and related activities.

• Support and advice when ordering or purchasing goods, technology and services.

• Applying for permits for parties and tents.

• Coordination of security issues.

• Participant management: creating tailored registration forms.

• Arranging conference dinners, mingling and social activities.

• Overall support on site during the event if needed.
