Staff mobility in Europe (ERASMUS+)
Both teachers and administrative staff at KTH have the possibility of international exchange. Funds are available for financing most travel and accommodation costs within programmes such as Erasmus + and Linnaeus-Palme. International Relations Office handles the programmes at KTH.
Apply for staff mobility
You are welcome to apply for grants for staff mobility. Both academic and administrative/technical staff can apply to go on Erasmus Staff Mobility. Please note: As the United Kingdom and Switzerland are not part of the Erasmus+ programme, very few scholarships can be granted for mobilities there.
Please apply through our system Mobility Online via the links below. Choose the type of application that matches the mobility you plan to undertake.
If you are going to teach at another university
The requirement is that your mobility lasts for at least two days, travel days not included, and at least eight hours of teaching. Please note that there must be an Erasmus agreement between KTH and the receiving partner university if you are to teach. Are you unsure whether there is an agreement? About staff mobility
Staff exchange for teachers
As a KTH teacher, you can go to a partner university and teach, have a workshop or attend a workshop. Your travel and subsistence are funded through Erasmus + and KTH. The exchange can be preparing new teaching materials, consolidating and expanding contacts and collaboration between departments and faculties and preparing for future cooperation projects.
Staff exchange for administrators
As an administrator at KTH, you have the opportunity to go on an international exchange or spend time at a partner university. Your travel and subsistence are funded through Erasmus + and KTH. For example, you can work as a colleague, attend a course (not conferences) or a training week in a European Union / EEA country. The purpose of the staff exchange is to create a forum where administrators from different universities meet and exchange experiences to get a European perspective on their daily work. All employees at KTH can apply for an exchange at a partner university.
