Scheduling and rooms

Here you can read about scheduling and room booking.

Before each semester, a schedule needs to be drawn up that specifies which schedule activities your course should contain and which rooms need to be booked.

Information about the scheduling process, a help guide and dates for ZOOM guided help sessions can be found on KTH's central intranet: Schedules for courses and exams

The schedule request form and schedule draft

When creating your schedule, be sure to submit complete details for the draft so that all activities are included, and the administration can plan the work according to them.

Be clear with the following information:

  • Name and surname of examiner and teacher.
  • use one of the following fixed headings so that we can get a full-fledged document: exam, re-exam, test writing or FX completion.
  • indicate which part is to be tested, e.g. TEN1, TENA etc. and whether the exam will be digital, computer room, oral or home exam etc.
  • check that the number of participants on the course is correct and estimate the number of candidates who will retake the exam.

When the upcoming semester's schedules are drafted, the central schedule group books premises based on your wishes to the greatest extent possible. A schedule draft will then be sent to you as a teacher for review, check the documentation and give feedback if any changes are needed. When the deadline has passed, the schedule document is published and the administration begins the work of booking hourly staff for your exam sessions etc.

Check the schedule document if changes have been made during the course of the semester after it has been approved. Please note that any later changes you make via e-mail to the scheduling team are not automatically included in the schedule document for next time. It can then be missed by us in the administration and must be communicated.
