Nominations to the strategic council of CBH

The School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health (CBH)
will elect five members to the school´s Strategic council, four teachers and research representatives and one representative of technical and administrative staff (CBH News 2018-02-12).

Members of the Strategic council will focus on topics that affect the school's long-term development.
The head of school has appointed a nomination committee consisting of: Ines Ezcurra, Karin Nordh, Peter Nilsson, Peter Sillén, Cristina Al-Khalili Szigyarto and Mats Jonsson (chairman).

We ask you to nominate candidates, possibly yourself, to the school's Strategic council. Nominations must contain a brief motivation. You don´t need to contact the person you nominate. The nomination committee will contact the nominated candidates.

An election is scheduled to take place by the end of March. Nominations must be made, at the latest, by Friday 9th of March.

2.9.3 The Strategic councils of the KTH Schools
The schools' Strategic councils are advisory bodies to the heads of schools for:
• important issues regarding the organization of the school,
• development and operative plan, budget, annual report and financial statements,
• general topics regarding education, and
• other matters of major importance for the school, that the head of school requests the strategic council´s opinion on.
 
3.4.2 The Strategic councils of the KTH Schools
The schools' strategic councils shall consist of the head of school and five representatives from employees. One representative from technical and administrative staff and four representatives from teachers and researchers. The council also includes three student representatives and three external members not employed at the school. The head of the school is chairman of the council.
 
4.4.2 The school's Strategic council
Teacher and research representatives in the school's strategic council are appointed by election in the school. The head of school appoints the representative of technical and administrative staff as well as the external members, after consulting the school staff and the principal. The members of the school's strategic council are appointed for a maximum of four years. The term of office follows that of the head of school. Student representatives are appointed, with a term of office of one year, by the Student Union at KTH.

at the latest, by Friday 9th of March.
